Service Operations Manager – Iraq

This international outfit has over 100 years of global experience in the industrial equipment and services space and is seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead and develop its service activities in Iraq.
 
This is a hands-on operational leadership position responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of field service, workshop, maintenance and technical support activities while maintaining high standards of customer service, safety and operational performance. 
 
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day service operations covering field service, workshop and customer support activities.
Lead, coordinate and develop service engineers and technicians.
Plan manpower, resources and service schedules to meet customer requirements.
Ensure maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and commissioning activities are completed efficiently.
Monitor service KPIs including response times, utilisation, productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
Support customers with technical and operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate parts, tools and technical resources required for service activities.
Maintain high standards of health, safety and operational compliance.
Work closely with sales and aftermarket teams to identify opportunities for additional service revenue.
Develop processes to improve service efficiency, profitability and customer retention.
Support recruitment, training and development of technical personnel.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers. 
 
Candidate Profile
 
Strong service management or service operations experience within industrial equipment, compressors, construction equipment, power generation, pumps, heavy machinery, oil & gas equipment or related sectors.
Proven experience managing engineers, technicians or field-service teams.
Strong understanding of maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment service operations.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of service profitability and aftermarket revenue.
Strong leadership and organisational capability.
Middle East or Iraq experience would be highly advantageous.
Good English communication skills.
