Career Opportunity – Global Category Manager
Our client are scanning the talent pool to identify and attract a Hong Kong professional to occupy an exciting global role for an ambitious senior person. The successful candidate will thrive on working with Country Managers and Procurement Heads to design, implement and review their procurement and sourcing projects. The successful candidate will have exposure to a variety of other divisions and functions throughout the company over time hence this is a good career development opportunity for a senior professional who is eager to learn about new areas.
To briefly summarize:
- Bachelor Degree holders
- At least 10 years of procurement/sourcing experience. Experience in multiple industries is welcome but insurance industry will be a must have
- Demonstrated tactical and strategic knowledge inside the procurement/sourcing arena
- Confident individual with presence to hold discussions with C level and Senior Management personnel
- Good relationship builder and influencer
- Thrives on directing category management projects and handling large per annum spends (more details to be shared)
- Autonomous approach to work and thrives on independence
- Hong Kong based professional with English & Cantonese language ability
