Key Responsibilities

 

  • Report to the COO, you will lead the Contract Logistics (CL) Department and the key responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:
  • Support COO in all long-term Contract Logistics (CL) projects and process improvement initiatives to accommodate business growth and requirements.
  • Meet budgetary goals including gaining new business, sourcing new profitable clients as well as maintaining, up-selling of existing clients and volumes.
  • Manage the whole warehouse operations to deliver high standard of service level in the warehouse, e-commerce/fulfilment.
  • Drive warehouse performance to achieve cost targets, develop action plans to improve productivities and efficiencies; Ensure activities meet with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • Lead and manage Operations, Customer Services and Solutions team to fulfil customer needs and improve service qualities and satisfaction.
  • Manage P/L of warehouse closely; Plan, recommend and execute P/L improvement projects.
  • Ensure continuous improvement on contract logistics operating practices and procedures, communicate with business units to standardize and streamline the operations.
  • Drive CL team directly and manage, motivate, train and influence team members to keep high morale; Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary CL business in the market.
  • Promote and establish good relationships with key strategic suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Be a role model in displaying a positive and visionary attitude under Sun Hing’s core values.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by top management.

 

Who we are looking for

 

  • At least 15 years of experience in warehouse, contract logistics management, e-commerce or fulfilment operation with at least 10 years in managerial level. In-depth knowledge in warehouse operation and management.
  • University degree
  • Mature and able to work independently and under pressure, strong communication skills, capable of communicating with people at all levels
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, planning & organizational skills are essential
  • Good supervisory, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Frequent travel aboard is required
  • Immediate available is preferred
