Business Development Executive –Iraq
This international outfit has over 100 years of global experience and is a leading brand in industrial equipment and services is looking to appoint a Business Development Executive to support continued growth across the Iraqi market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities across equipment, aftermarket and service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities across the assigned market and customer base.
Build and maintain relationships with industrial, construction, energy, oil & gas and other relevant customers.
Identify customer requirements and develop appropriate commercial and technical solutions.
Generate leads, manage enquiries and develop a strong sales pipeline.
Conduct regular customer visits and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
Work closely with service, aftermarket and technical teams to provide complete customer solutions.
Monitor market activity, competitors and emerging business opportunities.
Support negotiations and the successful closing of new business.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline information and customer activity.
Candidate Profile
Previous business development, sales or commercial experience within industrial equipment, machinery, compressors, construction equipment, power, pumps, oil & gas equipment or related sectors.
Strong customer-facing and relationship-building capability.
Commercially driven with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
Experience working within Iraq or the wider Middle East would be advantageous.
Good English communication skills.
Comfortable travelling to customers and developing business in the field.
