Branch Manager/ Country Manager Hong Kong
Overview
This global outfit are a market leader in the sea freight container business, airfreight and in high growth mode from their existing network of 300 offices across over 160 countries. RJM have partnered with our client on the recruitment of several South China and Hong Kong based career opportunities.
Currently our client is in the market to identify and attract a Branch/Country Manager who will be based in the Hong Kong office.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- In charge of the general management of the Shenzhen branch & overall branch performance.
- Draw up the branch developing plan and annual business objective and organize the regular or irregular check for the completion status.;
- Make the budget, break down the budget, control and evaluate the budget implement.
- Develop the business of branch, with good business acumen.
- Externally, make the business decision and business negotiation on behalf of the branch within authorization.
- According to the group corporate culture requirement, promote and establish the corporate culture of the branch and create positive corporate culture atmosphere.
- Formulate, implement, and supervise the branch management system, evaluate the management system implementation and make necessary adjustment.
- According to branch business planning, build the branch structure and management system, and build the efficient management team.
- Adjust internal structure to meet company strategy and business development requirement.
- In charge of branch personal management, recruiting ... important items decision or suggestion.
- Set up reasonable branch incentive system to motivate employee and stimulate employees’ potential.
- Handle the emergencies in company operation and management.
- In charge of branch internal department’s authorization and power implement, supervise and evaluate internal departments and other cross-department communication, coordination and decision. Instruct the branch department managers to implement daily management, and provide support for the important decision.
- In charge of the verification and approval of the items that submitted by department manager.
Qualifications / Experience
- College degree or above, at least 10 years working experience in freight forwarding industry, prefer including minimum 5 years sales experience and 3 years overall management experience of an enterprise.
- Ideally the successful candidate will be working as general manager, vice general manger or operation manager in LCL or freight forwarding industry, and with experience leading a team more than 20 persons.
- Comprehensive knowledge of LCL freight forwarding industry, familiar with the relevant operation processes, and the trade lane and shipping market.
- Familiar with LCL freight forwarding industry, rich industry connection and resources, with Shenzhen or Guangzhou customer resources is preferred.
- Familiar enterprise strategic planning and could build business system based on industry characteristics and company actual situation.
- Sharpe market insight, planning and marketing capability, advanced enterprise management art and team building capability.
- Rich experience in market developing and pay attention to customer service and customers relationship maintenance.;
- Strong business sense and awareness of overall situation, strong implementation capability.
- Familiar with enterprise overall operation, business management, and department working procedures.
- Excellent team management, internal motivation and drive, organization influence capability.
- Excellent communication and coordination capability and good team-work player.
- Good judgement and decision-making capability, high work efficiency, could work under pressure.
- Be dedicated to strong work ethic
- Familiar with MS office (Word, Excel, PPT etc.)
- Available for business travel
