UK Based Third-Party Logistics Senior Business Development Team Leader & Revenue Generator

Our team conducted an interview with the following candidate last week .

The candidate can be described as an out and out sales professional who has reached senior management level for Third-Party logistic household names. The candidate is a team leader who is extremely hands on in achieving new business collectively with his sub-ordinates. Demonstrated versatility during his career by working for large MNC and also small players where flexibility and a proactive approach is required.

The candidate was interviewed by our team over the phone for 45 minutes. He speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English (fluent and very clear). A face to face interview has been set up in London during November.

  • More than 18 years of total career experience in the Third-Party Logistics Industry. His main supply chain mode experience includes Ocean freight, Airfreight and Warehousing

  • Occupied titles during his career including “Sales Manager”, “Senior Sales Manager” up to "Deputy General Sales Manager”

  • Managed teams of 11 employees comprising of a commercial team tasked to win new business

  • Managed customer accounts across Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan), APAC and India.

  • Developed customers operating in FMCG, retail, chemicals and F&B, electro parts, toys and garment business verticals handling over 50,000 SKUs

  • Developed customers via cold calling and tapping into Pan Asia network resulting in GBP 150,000 per month invoicing

  • Based in the UK (London) with BMO passport/working visa

  • Originally from Hong Kong

  • Currently occupying an interim/part-time role while job hunting for a full-time career move. Notice period is 7 days
